Wathens Point Cottage
00217 Wathens Point Cottage is an oil painting started plein air, while staying at a friend's family summer home in Richibucto, New Brunswick, Canada. I completed it in my Hilly Studio" using photos taken during the plein air session. It depicts the clapboard siding and generous view of the bay with a fishing boat returning home. All of these are familiar to those fortunate to spend time in this area. The skies were particularly alluring that day.
